Austrian Airlines Flight Delays & Compensation

If you have experienced a flight delay of more than 3 hours on arrival, or if your flight was cancelled less than 14 days before departure without a suitable alternative, you are entitled to compensation under European Regulation EC 261/2004.

Because Austrian Airlines operates flights to and from Europe, you are strongly protected by these rights. The compensation amount is based solely on the flight distance, not the ticket price:
