Flight Cancellation Rights Explained

If your flight is cancelled, the airline must offer you the choice between a full refund within 7 days, or re-routing to your final destination at the earliest opportunity (or at a later date at your convenience).

If you were informed of the cancellation less than 14 days before the scheduled departure date, you may also be entitled to compensation up to €600, depending on the alternative flight offered and the flight distance.
